Hi there, I’m Tom, an F1 Doctor at Kettering General Hospital, and a writer and editor for SimpleMed. I have been involved with SimpleMed since second year of university and worked on the Haematology, Integrative and OSCE Videos sections of the website.

I have no firm aspirations as to what I want my career to look like and so am keen to explore a number of different specialities in my time as a junior doctor. I’m particularly enthralled at the idea of combining medicine with travel and so would love to explore the world of expedition medicine and repatriation work later in my career.

Throughout medical school I received a scholarship from Medic Mentor, leading and coordinating the organisations blog team, spend my free time playing sports, socialising and enjoying University life.
