Peter Parkinson

I’m Peter, a Junior Doctor and one of the article writers here at SimpleMed. When I’m not in the library studying or writing articles for SimpleMed, I enjoy running. I am part of the University of Leicester Running & Athletics Club and compete in regional cross country races and national British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) events. Also in my spare time, I like going to the cinema to watch the latest releases and trying out new restaurants with friends.

Like a lot of medical students, I am unsure which field of medicine I want to specialise in. I am interested in a possible career in Anaesthetics or Dermatology (the study and treatment of skin conditions). Because of my interest in Dermatology, I am currently a Co-President of the Dermatology Society at University of Leicester.
